Bigelow Daycare is a co-op with parents taking active roles in the organization. They needed a new facility which would strengthen and enhance the already strong sense of community. The genesis of this project was the town square: BFA created a large, open, central room with classrooms and support spaces arrayed along its perimeter. The idea was to make a space which would hold the entire community for special events and gatherings while also functioning as an indoor playspace for the kids to use daily.
